After an exhausting year, many of us need spiritual refreshment. We need a reconnection with God and His ways through the person of Jesus. The Well-Watered Woman was chosen as the 2021 MGT Summer Book Club book for this reason. Although this book is not a Bible study, it will place you in the presence of God through His Word and, hopefully, refill your Spirit with the goodness of Jesus.
If reading your Bible feels dry and heavy, The Well-Watered Woman will bring back your passion to connect with Jesus.
Jennie Allen
Gretchen Saffles, gingerly and intimately, tells her story of doing it all "right" and yet still found herself living in a spirit of exhaustion and defeat. While running a business and raising young children, Gretchen shares how adding the simple message of the gospel to her daily life rescued her, reconnected her to Jesus, and redeemed her joy.
